Thank you for joining us for our 19th Annual Taste of Huntington Beach!

The Beverage Exhibitor Requirements are listed below, for your reference. Please call / email Sue@TasteHB.com / 714.809.3521 with any questions.
Rules / Regulations:
• Read, Understand, and Agree to the Alcohol Serving Requirements (see below)
• Exhibitor Gate Opens for check in at 8 AM for setup and closes at 11:30 AM.
• Each individual working in your booth must sign in at the gate. Each exhibitor receives three admissions for your staff. You may purchase up to three additional staff admissions for $40 each in advance purchase or $50 on the day of the Taste.
• Please bring your own decorations, linens, promotional material and hand cart to move product
• Donations of beer and wine are MUCH APPRECIATED for our Silent Auction / Raffle.
• You must be set up by 11:30 AM when beer & wine judging begins and VIPs enter the tent
• Exhibitors must maintain a presence in the booth space until 4 PM - No early break downs
Beer Exhibitors Will Provide:
• 1½ kegs of beer in kegs, bottles or cans –
• Competition beer for judging – you may enter 1 or 2 varieties of beer, but you must serve them that day
Wine Exhibitors Will Provide:
• 3 total cases of wine – they could be all the same variety or 2-3 different kinds
• You may enter 1 red and 1 white wine in judging competition; both must be wines served that day
The Taste Of HB Will Provide:
Company sign and listing in event program
10 x 10 foot booth space in main tent or grill line with 1 8-foot table and 1 6-foot table with 2 chairs
Ice and tub for chilling, all plastic tasting cups and plastic tablecloths PLUS help loading/unloading
RESPONSIBLE BEVERAGE SERVING CLASS
All persons serving alcohol must either:
Attend the 15 minute RBS training class at 10:30am held on Sunday morning at the event
(if you took the class in 2018, you are good for 2019)
OR
Present a copy at check in or e mail in advance to Sue@TasteHB.com of a completed
Responsible Beverage Service course or TIPS course

Upon completion or evidence of any of the above you will receive a pourer wristband either at the exhibitor check-in or after completing the special RBS class that morning.

The Taste of HB is dedicated to the safe and responsible service of alcohol.
ALCOHOL SERVING REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These requirements are necessary to keep The Taste of Huntington Beach (TOHB) in good, legal standing with the CA State Alcohol & Beverage Control, the City of Huntington Beach and the event’s insurance carrier. Failure to abide by these requirements may result in exclusion from this and future Taste of Huntington Beach events. Please help us maintain these requirements to ensure this event continues to grow and support our community.
• Pouring of alcoholic beverages shall occur only from 11:30am – 4pm the day of the event.
• Alcoholic beverages must be poured in distinctive cups we provide. No others should be used.
• Samples can be NO MORE THAN 2 OUNCES, and only 2 samples can be poured for each person at one time.
• Do not serve alcoholic beverages to anyone with an underage or designated driver wristband.
• Do not give alcohol in bottles or cans to patrons for sampling or giveaways.
• Servers are not allowed to drink alcohol while serving the patrons.
• Do not serve alcohol to other servers while they are working.
• There is no glass allowed at the Sports Complex except behind serving tables.
• All persons serving alcohol must be 21 years or older – Born on or before April 28, 1998.
• Patrons who are impaired or intoxicated should not be served.
• All alcohol servers are required to check for appropriate wristbands to insure patrons are over 21 or have not purchased a designated driver ticket. If unsure, ask for ID to verify age. Servers are responsible for verifying age of patrons.
All persons serving alcohol must have completed a responsible beverage service course (RBS). Please send a copy of your completed certificate along with your completed application. For those who have not taken the class, we will conduct a brief RBS course the day of the taste at 10:30am. The training is valid for two years.
NO ONE CAN SERVE ALCOHOL AT THE EVENT UNLESS THEY HAVE TAKEN OUR RBS CLASS IN 2018 OR 2019 OR UNLESS THEY CAN SHOW PROOF OF CURRENT TIPS CERTIFICATION
